Background

Introduction

Students who apply to college can be accepted, wait listed or denied.   Knowing the acceptance status of students helps the schools and communities deliver the right level of resources and programming.  College acceptance status can also help policy makers gauge the level of accessibility across the state.  Students who are accepted to multiple schools need help making a decision based on many factors.  Students who are wait listed will need help with extra efforts to make connections at the school, more letters of recommendation and more.  Students who are denied need help looking into other options such as community colleges and transfer policies.
