Background

Introduction

College graduation is most typically defined as the number of students graduating within six years (this helps control for part time or working students). Ensuring that a student graduates from a college or university with a degree requires the support of many stakeholders.  High schools provide students with the basic tools they need to be successful while colleges and universities provide the right supports to ensure graduation.   Ultimately the success of higher education is measured by the percentage of students who graduate with a degree.
